Ferris in TEXAS's story
Ferris is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.
Ferris was saved from animal control. What makes him special is his split nose which is found in 3 rare breeds, the Andean Tiger Hound, the Catalburun, and the Pachon Navarro - all of which are types of pointers. Ferris is a mix, but apparently has some of one of these rare breeds in his DNA. Ferris is estimated to be around 8 months of age and weighs 33 pounds. He is mostly black, with white on his chest, toes and tail and a small amount of brindle on his legs.
Ferris is very well behaved in the house. He is crate trained, and there was some confusion with house training at first but we think this has been corrected. He could still use more obedience training. Ferris is very active and energetic. He is outgoing, very sweet, and loves people. He loves toys and plays nicely with other dogs. Ferris must be allowed in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash. Ferris needs exercise and would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Ferris is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, negative for heartworms, and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Ferris has a $450.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport via Rescue Road Trips for pickup in Zanesville Ohio. Please contact Marianne at 2 Many Dogs for an adoption application if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy. PLEASE visit and LIKE our Facebook page: /2ManyDogsRescue
