Great opportunity to own a vintage 1977 Schwinn step-through Paramount Tandem. Bike is in good condition and almost entirely original. Bike Serial Number is BN800882 and was manufactured in Chicago in February of 1977. Stored indoors and hardly used.
Hand brazed chrome molybdenum frame. Original Schwinn yellow color. No rust. Cenelli handlebars and stem, Schwinn Le Tour derallieures, Campagnolo sprocket, cranks and seat posts. Phil Wood mechanical disc brakes and hubs laced to Super Campagnolo rims, Mafac brake levers. Schwinn bar end shifters. 15 speed.
Not original: Avocet saddles, handlebar padding and 2 of the 4 Campagnolo pedals do not have stainless steel cages or leather straps. At some point some of the paint chips were touched up with a similar but not identical paint.
Mechanically everything works smoothly and the bike is in great shape for a 39 year old classic. Bike measures 25" front and 22" rear (measuring from center of bottom bracket to seat clamp).
